I create birdbaths from reclaimed glass, metal, and ceramic pieces — forgotten materials with stories still to tell. Each one-of-a-kind piece is designed in response to what I find: a broken plate that reminds me of my grandmother's kitchen, a bit of colored glass that catches the light just right, or a rusted metal base that once had another purpose entirely.
For me, the heart of this work is in the design — the moment when fragments from different lives begin to belong together. These aren't just functional pieces for the garden; they are quiet storytellers. They carry echoes of the past and invite new moments to form around them — birds pausing for water, people pausing to notice.
I believe beauty can be found in what we leave behind, and that by using these birdbaths, others continue the stories the pieces already hold. My work is both old and new, rooted in memory and alive in the present — a place where nature, nostalgia, and purpose come together.
